Below is an overview of ongoing funded projects in which we participate:
European Commission, 2021 - 2024
BiCIKL will catalyse a culture change in the way biodiversity data is identified, linked, integrated and re-used across the research cycle. We will cultivate a more transparent, trustworthy and efficient research ecosystem.
Zenodo's role in BiCIKL is to provide long-term virtual access to data liberated from scientific literature, as well as to the data liberated through transnational access. In addition, Zenodo will participate in the work to liberate, enhance, manage and distribute data from literature via automated workflow for article import and enhanced tools and services for data liberation and access.
Arcadia Fund, 2022 - 2025
The grant will help build on the momentum created in the first Arcadia supported project (years 2018-2021) by: (1) leading the data extraction effort and building a critical mass of FAIR scientific data and related tools involving the community; and (2) establishing a long lasting, self-sustaining research infrastructure.
European Commission, 2024 - 2027
The EVERSE project aims to create a framework for research software and code excellence, collaboratively designed and championed by the research communities, in pursuit of building a European network of Research Software Quality and setting the foundations of a future Virtual Institute for Research Software Excellence.
European Commission, 2022 - 2025
The FAIRCORE4EOSC project focuses on the development and realisation of core components for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). The project will develop nine new EOSC-Core components aimed to improve the discoverability and interoperability of an increased amount of research outputs.
Zenodo participates in the development of the EOSC Research Software APIs & Connectors, in particular the integration of Zenodo/InvenioRDM with Software Heritage.
US National Institutes of Health (NIH), 2022 - 2026
GREI’s mission is twofold.
The primary mission is to establish a common set of cohesive and consistent capabilities, services, metrics, and social infrastructure across various generalist repositories.
Secondarily, GREI will raise general awareness and help researchers to adopt FAIR principles to better share and reuse data.
European Commission, 2023 - 2025
HORIZON-ZEN will help the EC's research programme beneficiaries comply with the FAIR and open science requirements of Horizon Europe by implementing an easy go-to solution in Zenodo.
The project will specifically:
